GYROKINESIS®

GYROKINESIS® class starts seated on a stool, with participants practicing self-massage and simple breathing patterns to “Awaken the Senses” and stimulate the nervous system. Then students start gentle, undulated movements of the spine through a series of arching, curling, bending, twisting, and spiraling movements. The action of yawning is a very good analogy to the intention of GYROKINESIS® - waking up the dormant energies inside, and allowing them to express, like the first morning stretch.
